Our client, a leading agriculture player, wanted to increase its sales team productivity while having a cost-effective tool to determine the optimal protection and treatment plan for crops. Furthermore, our client wanted to digitize and automate processes, while synchronizing the web administration panel with data collected from farmers through the mobile application.
Solution
In order to meet all these requirements, we developed a modern, scalable, and performant mobile app, providing users with the best fungicide treatment options using a specific algorithm, detailed descriptions of biological and chemical control methods for hundreds of diseases, wide-ranging guidelines for using plant protection products, and an offline mode for areas without internet connection. Our app’s unique advantage lies in predicting crop diseases and pest occurrence. Taking into account biological models, experts now know the right threshold for a spray activity and make sure not to cross the economic threshold where farmers can lose money.
